This article explains how to manually sync data with a video within DIVA's Back Office Video Catalog. For an introduction and a general overview, read our video catalog introduction article.
The following topics are covered here:
Re-sync data with video asset
Occasionally, data can fall out of sync with the video stream. If this happens, the data sync time needs updating to prevent editorial data from showing ahead of the event. Typically, this process only needs to be completed once, when the first key event happens, e.g., at kick-off. Re-syncing the first key event means all future events are appropriately coordinated with the video.
Note: It is important that the video stream you are re-syncing data with is the full event and has not been edited. If the video stream has been edited, the timeline feed will also need editing.
- Select an event from within the EVENTS tag generated by the sports data provider.
2. Select the sync video button.
3. Drag the playhead position to the required moment in the stream. This action determines the new sync time for the event to appear.
4. Select the refresh button to update the sync video time and the time code.
5. Select the SYNC button followed by CONFIRM to update the time the selected event displays within the video.
