What is the DIVA 5 Player?
Our DIVA 5 Video Player is a new front-end, streamlined, modern, customizable API-based SDK for new and existing clients supporting video, data, and rich user interactivity. Decoupling DIVA Player from DIVA Back Office, DIVA 5 enables clients to integrate with their own choice of Online Video Platform (OVP).
DIVA Back Office integration
If you choose to use DIVA Back Office, we've made the integration and configuration process easier and more intuitive for client developers and operators. Check out our Getting started - DIVA Back Office article for more information. If you're looking to learn how DIVA Back Office features work, see our operator documentation.
Analytics
Track precise low-level performance metrics, e.g., the time taken for a video to start and the average bitrate across certain devices in a particular graphical location. DIVA 5 provides a Media Analytics interface via a new Conviva plugin implementation, as well as an API layer allowing 3rd parties to integrate with custom Media Analytics providers without making technical changes to DIVA.

Image quality
We know the importance of image quality, and that's why DIVA 5 Player supports the device's base video player. What exactly does this mean? Well, if the device in use supports HDR and or 4K, DIVA presents content in this format.
