This article introduces alerts within DIVA 5.
What are alerts?
We understand how frustrating it is when you can't be in two places at once. DIVA's Alerts feature enables audiences to be notified of key moments happening live in other events, whilst watching the preferred event.
Select an option below to view examples:
Alerts display at the top of the screen:
- Tap an alert to switch focus to the other event. The video starts playing at the exact moment automatically, via a deeplink.
- Tap the return alert at the top of the screen to return to the initial event.
Alerts display at the top of the screen. Selecting an alert opens the event stream in a side-by-side view, meaning two events are playing simultaneously. The video starts playing at the exact moment automatically, via a deeplink.
To close the side-by-side view and focus on the initial event, select the icon (top-right).
