This article introduces DIVA's data panel functionality.
Topics covered here:
What are data panels?
Data panels display additional information and statistics, synced with the current video content, enriching your audience's playback experience.
How does data sync with the video?
Supported data providers (Opta, SportRadar, GameDay, and Sportz Interactive) are connected to the Generic Data Provider (GDP), which ingests data into DIVA Player. DIVA Back Office (in ghost mode), connects the relevant video to the specific panel to be presented to end users.
It's important to note that accessing data panels within DIVA does not interfere with video playback.
Which sports are supported?
DIVA supports the display of the following sports and data providers:
Note: Support for American Football and Ice Hockey is coming soon.
Sport | Data provider |
---|---|
Football | Opta |
Basketball | SportRadar and GameDay |
Handball | GameDay |
Volleyball | GameDay |
Table Tennis | GameDay |
Baseball | SportRadar |
Cricket | Sportz Interactive |
What type of data can I display?
Data panels support various data depending on the sport being streamed.
Let's take Football data as an example:
Team stats — data including possession, total shots, shots on target, etc. | |
Lineups — data including player events such as fouls, goals, substitutions, etc. | |
Top players — data including passes, distance, speed, etc. |
