This article introduces Video list functionality for DIVA 4.9
What are video lists?
DIVA supports the management of menu items to display lists of content, giving viewers the ability to easily monitor simultaneous events. For example, a custom video list titled Today's matches may provide links to live, video-on-demand (VOD), related, or recommended videos associated with the day's sports matches. DIVA also supports the use of custom thumbnails for these video links, which can be updated in line with event scores.
Note: If Video lists are enabled, DIVA's video player requires an MRSS file input.
Customizable options for video lists include:
- Menu labels
- Menu label localization
- Menu label color
- Custom messages if the video list is empty
- Display video lists FullPage and SideBySide templates for web
- Video views, see examples and compatibility below:
|External||The newly selected video displays on a separate web page/tab within the browser.|
|Switch||The newly selected video replaces the current video.|
|Side-by-side view||The newly selected video displays alongside the current video (SideBySide).|
|PiP (Picture-in-Picture)||The newly selected video displays at a smaller scale within the current video. The current video is the main focus, however, moving the mouse over the PiP enlarges the picture.|
